World of Warcraft Item Upgrades
The upgrading of your items is a vital element of equipping your character. Upgrades boost damage to items and the ability to enchant.
They also offer bonuses and enhancements. They can be acquired from the Blacksmith.
The upgrade button can be found on any item. Every recycled item adds one level to the gauge for upgrading.
Weapon
When a weapon is upgraded, it will gain a base damage bonus, as well as an increase in the scaling factor that affects other stats. The weapon may also gain a variety of upgrade components, which provide additional effects or attributes, and some have unique cosmetic effects. These upgrades can be inserted into armor, weapons trinkets and gathering tools, and most require the equipment to have an upgrade slot that is available and meet certain requirements. The upgrade component can be removed from an armored weapon, weapon or trinket, but it will not be replaced. (Except for legendary equipment). Upgrade components can be found by using the Black Lion Salvage Kit Ascended Salvage tool, or high-tier salvaging tool for an item.
A weapon can also be upgraded to include a calibration attribute that increases certain stats, like Weakspot damage or Crit Rate. This is done via the Gear Workbench's interaction menu. Based on the level of the weapon it can be done up to four times.
After the weapon has reached its maximum upgrade and is then reforged to add different effects and bonuses or to boost specific stats. These upgrades can all be applied at once and their effects will vary depending on how rare the weapon is.
Two Blacksmiths can be upgraded in the game: Blacksmith Iji on the Road to the Manor Site of Grace and Smithing Master Hewg at the Church of Elleh hub. Both upgrade materials differ: Smithing Stones to modify the damage weapons deal and Somber Smithing Stones to modify the standard weapons.
In general, it's best to upgrade your weapon damage first. Then, you can upgrade your armour defense and finally those secondary stats that are required by your build. Particularly, it is common to see melee druids upgrading their weapon before they upgrade any other gear, since this can increase DPS. This is especially true for enchantments that can boost a weapon's stats and damage.
Armor
Item upgrades allow players to boost the stats of specific weapons, armors, trinkets, and gathering tools. They can also provide additional effects like increased damage or cosmetic enhancements. Item Upgrades can be obtained by crafting, purchasing from NPC vendors, or in loot drops or as quest rewards.
The armor can be upgraded by visiting the Armorer NPC, and spending the appropriate currency. Most of the time the armor will be upgraded to next level once an upgrade is applied. Most types of armor are upgradeable, however some items (such as the starter armour in Great Sky Island) cannot.
Most armor upgrades provide only a slight increase in an item's defense base or strength. However, some upgrade components can give significant improvements in strength or defense, particularly when upgrading an item that is epic.
Certain upgrades grant specific abilities that can be activated while wearing armor. These abilities can be helpful in combat, for instance providing a boost to attack speed or blocking. Certain upgrades also have passive effects, like cutting down on the amount of damage sustained while wearing armor or adding a chance to dodge attacks.

Upgrades to armor can require multiple attempts, based on the type of armor. For example, if a player wanted to upgrade the strength of a Steelclash armor to Dragonscale, the first attempt would result in a new piece of Dragonscale with a base defense between 59 and 67. The second attempt will result in a brand new Dragonscale armor with an initial defense of 67-77 and the list goes on.
item upgrades of Zelda: Breath of the Wild lets players upgrade their armor sets up to level 4. To do this it is necessary to visit each of the four locations known as Great Fairy Fountains in the game. Each of these locations houses the power of a fairy who can upgrade one piece of armor for the player.
Contrary to popular belief, armor in The Division 2 is not in any way useless. Some armors offer a significant boost in the reduction of damage from poison or curse, magic or fire. This makes them very useful for certain builds. There are other ways to boost armor stats beyond the use of upgradeable armor such as the engineer trait to boost armor penetration, or the challenger trait to reduce total weight.
Potion
By putting a potion in a stand for brewing, you will be able to unlock new effects. The upgrade opens a new level of potion effects, and can be repeated for higher levels of potency.
The potion also gains a custom color code which the player can choose via /give, and that can affect the area-of-effect clouds as well as arrows created by the potions. In Bedrock Edition, the custom color of the potion also affects the effects of the particles in the potions.
The water bottle, common and thick potions, as well as awkward potions now have a distinct brewing texture. Add potion of weakness and healing potion to the Creative inventory. Addition of lingering potions, which can be brewed with Dragon breath or splash potions. Also included is a potent potion that has the status effect of Mining Fatigue. Bug Tracker is the place to report any issues related to this patch.
